Railway Construction Heavy Industry Shield Machine Achieves Full Coverage of Major Cities in Türkiye

Recently, an earth pressure balance shield machine with a diameter of 6.55m was successfully accepted and put into production in the First Industrial Park of Railway Construction Heavy Industry in Changsha, which will help the construction of Ankara Metro in Türkiye.

At the acceptance site, the cutterhead of the shield machine in red and white colors was particularly eye-catching, and the star and moon pattern on the cutterhead and the elements of Türkiye's national flag complement each other. Customer representatives and Yang Fangming, Marketing Director of China Railway Construction Heavy Industry, attended the offline ceremony.

Ankara Metro Line A1 Project is an important livelihood project in Türkiye, which is of great significance in alleviating urban traffic pressure and promoting regional economic development. China Railway Construction Heavy Industry has successfully won the bid for this project with its mature experience in designing and manufacturing shield tunneling machines and comprehensive overseas service system, once again proving the recognition of China's shield tunneling machines in the international market.
